Idilia
“A man truly breaks for love only once. When that light goes out, he spends his life chasing its reflection in the faces of strangers. He may walk through the world, but the deepest part of his heart remains locked in a past he can never return to.”

Fairy Tales
I want to be your knight,
Your knight in shining armour.
Who will ride across these lands for you,
Through gales and rolling thunder.
I want you to be my maiden,
So beautiful and so fair.
With your bright, warming eyes,
And your soft, silky hair.
Forever we can stay together,
And live in a fairy tale.
Watching sunsets on dreamy nights,
And forever our hearts will sail.

Prince Over Knight (Fairy Tales II)
Once upon a willing knight,
Who would do anything for love.
Travelling across many different lands,
Under the stars above.
A beautiful princess, so fair and pure,
His noble heart is caught.
Her attention, a warming smile,
Is all that is sought.
The biggest battle he has had to face,
Is the one of words.
It’s hard to describe how a heart takes flight,
Just like the soaring birds.
Now, late at night, under the moon,
Fighting with quill and scroll.
Wishing to become her Prince Charming,
And then he’d feel whole.
Flowers, stars, the heavens,
Everything he wishes to give.
Happiness for an eternity,
And together they can live.
She smiled.
To Idilia,
I really wish I could have apologized in person. Regret is a weight that doesn’t lighten with age. I know this is probably falling upon deaf ears, but I never lied and I never cheated. If you knew the truth, you would probably understand, and hopefully hate me a little less. While I never lied or cheated, I also didn’t treat you as well as I should have, and for that I am truly sorry. I could easily point out that it’s just the way I was raised, but in reality, that’s a reason, not an excuse. And that’s on me. That’s my burden now. My only wish is for the chance to say: I’m sorry.
